RuPaul´s Drag Race es un reality americano reality producido por World of Wonderde Logo . RuPaul es quien acoge a sus candidatas a futuras Super Starts Drags Queens en un programa donde es su mentor e inspiración.
El empezo a crearse desde mayo de 2008, según un comunicado de prensa de MTV Networks. Se estrenó en los EE.UU. el 2 de febrero de 2009, en la televisora de Logo .
La primera temporada fue marcado como el lanzamiento más exitoso de los años logotipo de la red y tres. El tráfico a la web, el sitio se presenta la rompió todos los récords. Una segunda temporada se grabó a finales de 2009. Casting comenzó 01 de mayo 2009. Comenzó a emitirse en febrero de 2010; videos promocionales con cada uno de los nuevos concursantes fueron liberados en el sitio web LOGO.
El título del espectáculo es un juego de Drag Queen y drag racing , con la secuencia de título y el video musical de la canción de RuPaul "Covergirl (Ponga el bajo en tu caminar)", tanto un obstáculo para competir con el tema. Tanto los competidores y los aficionados se refieren cariñosamente como "corredores".
